April is Rosacea Awareness Month, a time to highlight and increase understanding of this often misunderstood condition. Despite its prevalence, rosacea is frequently underdiagnosed or mismanaged, with many patients experiencing delays in diagnosis or ineffective treatment approaches. Ongoing education plays a critical role in helping clinicians recognize early signs, personalize treatment plans, and improve long-term patient outcomes.
National Healthy Minority Month offers an opportunity to reinforce the importance of advancing health equity and improving outcomes across diverse patient populations. In dermatology, this includes enhancing our ability to recognize variations in how conditions present across skin types, understanding differences in disease manifestation, addressing disparities in access to care, and building cultural competence in clinical practice.
Together, let's use this month to raise awareness, expand our understanding, and continue to support patient-centered care for all skin types and communities.
Registration is now open, and the earlier you register, the more you save with our early bird pricing. If these meetings are part of your annual education calendar, it's a great time to start planning ahead. If not, consider this your sign to see what everyone’s been talking about. 😉
